 UEFA ranking.
Wales ranked 34th by UEFA. The rankings for the forthcoming Euro 2004 draw have been published by UEFA.

Wales are ranked 34th out of the 50 teams competing, this puts them in the 4th group of seeds.

The draw takes place on the 25th January next year.

 U-21: The future.
Welsh players in training. So what does the future hold for the Welsh youngsters.

With over half of the last U-21 squad now ineligible what is the current state of player availability?

There are in fact 40 players on a provisional U21 list which will be cut down around 20 by the time the first squad is announced.

As for the manager there is currently no change whatsoever in his situation.

 March date.
Craig Bellamy in action for Wales. The Welsh football fan will have to wait until the end of March next year to see Wales in action again.

The match in Cardiff will be against top class European opposition, with the 27th of March pencilled in for the fixture, the most probable opponents being the Czech Republic.

Negotiations are continuing with regards to a Far East tour in May 2002, there are no other matches scheduled with no dates being considered for either February or April.
