The friendly against Finland next Wednesday has been confirmed as a 66,000 sell-out.

What John Robinson said:

 Finland friendly - Live on S4C.
The Wales v Finland friendly is being show live on S4C. Dylan Llewelyn, Dylan Ebenezer and Dai Davies will be in the studio. The programme starts at 6.40pm.

 Finland friendly - large crowd expected.
The FAW have announced that 36,000 tickets have already been sold for the friendly against Finland. With still another week to go it is possible that
around 60,000 supporters could be watching the first football international at the Millennium Stadium.
Mark Hughes was also encouraged by the news of ticket sales as he visted the Stadium today.

What Alan Davey of Ticketline said:

"Demand has been so great that we have decided to extend our opening hours this week to 8pm.”


"We have had a very busy time with people queuing all day. We have been snowed under. I have had to bring in extra staff to cope. And it has now been decided to open the front section of the upper tier."

What Mark Hughes said:
"That’s great news - everybody is excited about the venue and I hope we can be equally exciting in our play. The ticket prices are spot-on.”

 Large crowd is hoped for.
The squad has been announced for the forthcoming friendly against Finland. Mark Hughes is hoping for a large crowd at the Millennium Stadium for the game.

 John Hartson injury blow.
John Hartson has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a hernia problem. It's a major blow to the Swansea born striker, after his £7m move to Spurs broke down last week after he failed a medical.

 Giggs committed to Wales.
Mark Hughes has no doubts about Ryan Giggs' commitment to the national side - even though the winger has never played a friendly international.

Hughes says calls for him to be dropped are "silly".

"I know Ryan is committed to Wales. When the World Cup games come around Ryan will be there with us."

Wales' captain Gary Speed believes the team would love the opportunity to play against Finland at the Millennium Stadium on the 29th March.
