Callum Antell (Hibs/East Stirlingshire - goalkeeper) Keeps on receiving praise from all quarters for his form while on loan at East Stirlingshire. The former Swindon Town youth teamer made several excellent saves as his side drew 1-1 with Clyde last Saturday.
Elliott Chamberlain (Leicester City/AFC Telford - striker) Made his second appearance for AFC Telford last Saturday as Telford were beaten 2-1 by Braintree Town last weekend. The Wales U21 international has been missing from the first team squad after suffering from a mystery breathing complaint.
Josh Dawkin (Norwich/Kettering - striker) Will stay at Nene Park until January the 15th after impressing manager Mark Stimson. "He's a player I really like and the more we get him on the ball, the more he can create. It's great news, because he's done outstandingly well for us." - Mark Stimson.
Ibrahim Farah (Cardiff City - mdfielder) Is back at Cardiff City after his loan spell with Tamworth came to an end end this week. Farah was sent out on loan to gain some more senior game time experience.
Richard Peniket (Fulham/Hereford - striker) Was an unused sub as the Bulls drew 1-1 with Plymouth. The Wales youth international is into his second month at Edgar St, but unfortuntaley game time has been hard to come by.
Josh Pritchard (Fulham - defender/midfielder) Found himself in the unusual position of centre half as the reserves took on Liverpool. Pritchard played 90 minutes and also picked up a yellow as the game finished 1-1.
"Joshua Pritchard, playing in central defence alongside Daniel Burn, performed superbly against the physically imposing Michael Ngoo during the first-half. Despite the striker’s clear physical advantage, Pritchard stood toe to toe with the striker and was rarely beaten in the air." - Extract from www.fulhamfc.com
Will Roberts (Coventry - midfielder) Picked up another assist as the U18's advanced to the next round of the FA Youth Cup with a 3-2 win against Bristol Rovers. He was joined in the starting XI by Aaron Phillips (Coventry - defender).
Ashley Richards (Swansea City - defender) Continued his senior development with another 90 minutes as the Swans drew 0-0 with Newcastle. With Angel Rangel still out injured, the Wales U21 international has continued to deputise for his more experienced colleague and was tested once again as he came up against Argentinian Jonas Gutierrez.
Jon Williams (Crystal Palace - midfielder) Hopes to get the cast off his broken leg this week as he starts the long road to recovery. The Wales U21 international had an amazing first half to the season and will hope to return before the campaign finishes. |
