Tom Bradshaw (Shrewsbury -
striker) Will be out for around 2-3
weeks after picking up an ankle sprain while away with the Wales U19's.
Troy Brown (Ipswich -
defender) Finally got his Championship
first team start on Tuesday night as the Tractor Boys travelled to Vicarage
Road. Unfortunately for Brown his dream start didn't go as planned, as Watford
struck twice before half time to gain an advantage that they would not lose.
Brown was subbed after 68 minutes but will be stronger for the experience.
Ryan Doble (Southampton -
striker) Scored a goal as the U21 side
beat Fulham in midweek. After a trip to Basle with the Wales seniors, Doble is
now looking to impress Saints manager Nigel Adkins.
Michael Doughty (QPR -
midfielder) Started and played 90
minutes as the reserves beat Wycombe 2-1 this week. Doughty picked up an assist
with a delightful through ball for his sides first
goal.
Paul Dummett (Newcastle -
defender) Was once again in the back
four as the reserves took on Bolton on Tuesday afternoon. The Magpies ran out
4-1 winners.
Keiran Freeman
(Nottingham Forest - defender) Played
the full 90 as the U18's beat Barnsley to pick up a second consecutive FA
Premier Academy win. It was another clean sheet for the defence who beat Leeds
4-0 last week. It was his last involvement before Wales U19 duty.
Sam Hart (Preston -
defender) Got another reserve team run
out this week as the Lillywhites took on Tranmere at Deepdale. Preston won the
game 4-3.
Patrick Otte
(Middlesborough - defender) The former
Wales U19 training camp member played 61 minutes as the second string beat
Gateshead 5-1 on Monday night.
Joe Partington (Bournemouth - midfielder) Will spend the next month on loan at Eastbourne Borough
after finding first team chances tough to come by this season.
Christian Ribeiro (Bristol City
- defender) Hopes to be back in action
next week after picking up a hip/groin injury. The Wales international will
miss this weekends game against Boro.

Kayleden Brown (WBA -
striker) Scored a hat-trick as the
Baggies beat Willenhall 4-1 in the Birmingham senior cup this week. Keith
Downing the coach was complimentary about Browns power and
pace.
Paul Dummett (Newcastle - defender) Lined up for the reserves as they took on Blackpool this week.
Dummett started and played 90 minutes as the Magpies came from 2-0 down to win
3-2.
Kieron Freeman (Nottingham Forest - defender) Started for the reserves as they beat Sheff Weds 5-0 in
midweek. Freeman who has captained the second string on occasions this season
played 90 minutes. The Wales U19
international also played 90 minutes as the U18's picked up the first win of the
season with a 4-0 thumping of Leeds.
Aaron Holloway (Bristol City
- defender) Was a handful once again as
the U18's beat Birmingham in a six goal thriller last weekend. Holloway was
fouled for a penalty and picked up an assist in the win.
Aristote Nsiala (Everton -
defender) Has joined Macclesfied on loan
as he looks to get some senior first team football under is belt. He will join
fellow Wales U19 training camp member Vinny Mukendi (Macclesfield
- striker) at Moss Rose. He recently
played at Anfield during Jamie Carraghers testimonial. Mukendi picked up the
only goal of the game as the reserves beat Oldham 1-0, the forward scoring from
18 yards out with a sweet finish.
Patrick Otte (Middlesborough
- defender) Was once again with the
reserves this week as the second string beat Grimsby away on
Tuesday.
Josh Rees (Arsenal - midfielder) Kept up his impressive start to the season with another goal as
the U18's beat London rivals Chelsea 3-0 last Saturday. Rees who was a sub came
on to score from the bench.
Elliot Scotcher (Ipswich - midfielder) + Jack Simmons (Ipswich -
midfielder) Both played 90 minutes
in the U18 2-1 win at West Ham. The duo were also involved in the 0-0 draw the
week before.
Rhys Taylor (Chelsea/Crewe - goalkeeper) Has been praised by manager Dario Gradi for his recent
performances. Taylor will have to be on his game during the next few weeks as
experienced stopper Steve Phillips returns from injury. "Rhys is a young lad
making his way in the game and we have been impressed with him." Dario Gradi,
Crewe manager.

Billy
Bodin (Swindon - striker) Made an appearance
off the bench for the Robins in the 2-1 defeat to
Dagenham and Redbridge. Swindon have now lost
the last two League One games and Bodin Jnr will
hope to get his chance to fire up front.
Troy
Brown (Ipswich - defender) Picked up another
taste of first team football with 10 minutes for
the first team in the 2-1 win over Leeds last weekend.
Brown stepped off the bench as the Trotters
held on to a slender one goal cushion.
Nathan
Craig (Everton - midfielder) Picked up an assist
as Everton lost 2-1 to the Baggies on Tuesday night.
Kayleden Brown (WBA - striker) was an unused
sub.
Paul Dummett (Newcastle -
defender) Was once again on second string duty
on Tuesday night as the reserves drew a blank against
Villa in the 0-0 draw. The Villa starting
XI had Elliot Parrish (Aston Villa - goalkeeper)
between the sticks.
Iain Edmunds
(Shrewsbury - defender) Scored his sides only
goal as the Shrews youth team drew 1-1 with Walsall.
Edmunds followed up his own shot which was
saved to score from the rebound.
Aaron
Holloway (Bristol City - defender/midfielder/striker)
Scored his third as makeshift striker as the U18's
conceded late after taking a 3-1 lead against Spurs.
Holloway had rounded the keeper to give his side
a two goal cushion before a late comeback.
Gerwyn
Jones (Loyola University Maryland - defender)
Picked up another award for defensive player of
the week.
Josh Rees (Arsenal -
midfielder) Scored as the Gunners beat Norwich
3-2 in an U18 encounter last weekend. Rees
a Wales qualified midfielder through Pembrokeshire
born grandparents has been in fine form this season.
Conor
Roberts (Tranmere - midfielder) Is out of his
protective boot and has started jogging as he looks
to get his season under way after injury.
Jon
Williams (Crystal Palace - midfielder) Could
and possibly should have scored as the U18's beat
Charlton in a London derby last Saturday. Williams
played the full 90 and had a few a few glimpses
of goal which he failed to take.

bench to score as the Shrews drew 2-2 with Wycombe. Bradshaw was called up to
the Wales U19 recently and scored on his debut against Liechtenstein.

week.

defender) Came out on top in the reserve
duel against
Jake Cassidy (Wolves - striker) in midweek. The Geordies won 2-1.
Sam Hart (Preston -
defender) Was back in action this week
as the Preston reserves beat Bury 3-1.
Aaron Holloway (Bristol
City - defender) Found himself up front
for the U18's last weekend as academy boss John Clayton struggles to find the
youth internationals best position. The change of position did no harm with
Holloway scoring both goals in the 2-0 win against Coventry.
Hal Robson-Kanu (Reading striker) Replaced Simon Church with twenty minutes to go and scored his
first Championship goal with a fine run and shot. He picked up an assist for
his sides first in the 3-0 win against Barnsley. But it was Simon Church (Reading
striker) with the winner in midweek,
stepping off the bench in midweek to clinch all three points with two minutes
left in normal time against Ipswich.
Christian Ribeiro
(Bristol City - defender) Started again
for Bristol City away at Burnley last Saurday. The Wales U21 international
played 90 minutes in the 0-0 stalemate. He wasn't so lucky in midweek as the
Robins crashed 3-1 to Pompey.
Jon Williams (Crystal Palace
- midfielder) Played 90 minutes for the
Eagles U18 team in the 2-0 win against West Ham last weekend..
