Jonathan Bond (Watford - goalkeeper) Was on the bench on Saturday as the Hornets drew 2-2 with
Coventry. Bond who started for the U21's in Malta is progressing well at
Vicarage Road.
Kayleden Brown
(Tranmere/WBA - striker) Stepped off
the bench as Tranmere drew 0-0 with Huddersfield last weekend. Brown came on
with 15 minutes left to play but neither side could break the
deadlock.
Jake Cassidy (Airbus -
striker) Has signed for Wolves after
impressing for Principality Welsh premiership Airbus in pre season. After
scoring for a Wolves development XI against Telford, the Glan Conwy has now
signed a two year deal at Molineux.
Hal Robson-Kanu (Reading - striker) + Jake Taylor (Reading -
striker) Played 90 minutes as the
second string drew 1-1 with Leyton Orient on Tuesday night.
Gerwyn Jones - defender (DC United / Loyola Greyhounds) resumes his college
career shortly after captaning DC's Super 20's to qualification to the
Nationals. In a pre seaon poll of coaches he was tabbed to the all MAAC team,
the only sophomore outfield player named.
Jon Meades (Cardiff City -
defender) Has joined FK Moss on loan
until the Autumn. The 18 year old who travelled with the City first team on the
pre season tour to Portugal will now look to get some regular first team
football for his new club.
Kayne
McLaggon (Salisbury - striker) Has
signed for Salisbury City after being released from Southampton at the end of
last season. McLaggon had been on trial at several clubs over the summer,
including Hereford and a club in Egypt.
Christian Ribeiro (Bristol City - defender) Returned to action this week with a reserve team run out
against Cheltenham Town. The Wales U21 international played 45 minutes as he
looks to shake off the effects of a back problem.
David Stephens (Hibernian - defender) Was another Wales youth international to make his debut
last weekend after coming on for the last 12 minutes. Hibs won 3-2 in a
pulsating encounter.
Rhys
Taylor (Crewe/Chelsea - goalkeeper)
Was a very busy man last weekend as Crewe lost 3-2 to Cheltenham. Taylor has
taken on the role of first choice keeper in the abscence of injured Steve
Phillips and made some great saves in what would turn out to be a loss for the
Railwaymen.
Marc Williams (Wrexham -
striker) Is heading to Kidderminster
for a three month loan spell. With Andy Mangan and Andy Morrell ahead of him in
the pecking order the move will give the U21 striker valuable game
