Mark Hughes and the future!
 OPINION
Well what an eventful few months it has been. Another defeat against an average Switzerland side (missing three key players), Sparky finally being confirmed as full-time boss (about time.), David Johnson will he or won't he play for Wales saga (would his heart really be in it?), and once again another drop down the Fifa world rankings. (below the likes of Burkina Faso, Mali and Gabon. I can hear the chant now "Who the f***** h*** are you.", anybody know how the rankings are worked out? I'll try to find out.)

The World Cup draw.

Norway, Ukraine, Poland, Belarus and Armenia, a lot of air miles (do the FAW have shares in British Airways). Can we qualify or get into the play-off spot, I hope so but looking more into it maybe third place is best we can hope for. Again the question has been raised on where the home matches are to played (Millennium or AN Other). My personal opinion is that all the games should be played at the Millennium Stadium, where I'm sure all the players would raise their game whoever we played. (remember how we played at National Stadium under Terry Yorath)

Qatar friendly.

??????. At least we might beat them (ranked below us at 107th (just), about the only team that are). A nice mid-winter break for the players I think. (Robbie Savage remember the suntan lotion). Interesting to see if Ryan Giggs will make an appearance.

Let's hope for bright year ahead and let's give the youngsters a chance. (Jones, Davies etc....)

Cymru am byth.
