Young Guns: Weekly update - Sunday 3rd March.

Jonathan Bond (Watford - goalkeeper) Made a start for Watford in place of the injured Manuel Almunia on Friday night.  The Wales youth internatonal pulled off an amazing double save, but his side eventually conceded late as Wolves claimed a point in the 1-1 draw.

Jake Cassidy (Wolves - striker) & Robbie Parry (Wolves - midfielder) Were on the score sheet as the development side beat West Ham this week.  Casidy struck from the spot before Parry bagged the winner in the 90th after coming on as a sub.  Also starting for Wolves were Jordan Cranston (Wolves - defender) & Lee Evans (Wolves - midfielder).

Jake Charles (Huddersfield - midfielder) Has signed his first professional contract on his 17th birthday.  “We’re all really pleased for Jake; he works hard and is a great prospect,” said Academy Manager Mark Lillis.

Chris Dawson (Leeds - midfielder) Struck from 25 yards to get his side back in a game which they would eventually go on to win against Sheffield Utd this week.  The Wales U21 international scored the leveller in the development sides 3-1 win.  

Callum Harris (Blackburn - striker) Struck his second of the season as the U18's beat Norwich City 2-1 on Wednesday night.

Adam Henley (Blackburn - defender) Returned from injury this week for the reserves as they played Sunderland this week.  The Wales U21 international played 62 minutes as Rovers won 2-1.  Henley also returned to action for the seniors - coming on as a second half sub in his sides 3-2 loss to lowly Peterborough.

Emyr Huws (Man City - midfielder) Played 90 minutes for the U21's as they beat Stoke City 4-1.  Huws back with the club after being out on loan at Northampton is returning after injury.

Lloyd Jones (Liverpool - defender) Played 90 minutes against Leeds U18's in the FA Youth Cup this week.  Liverpool progressed to the next round with a 3-1 win.

James Loveridge (Swansea City - striker) Scored one in an U21 friendly defeat to Exter City on Tuesday night. 

Jazz Richards (Swansea/Crystal Palace - defender) Is being linked to various sides according to SKY Sports after impressing on loan at Crystal Palace.  His form has alerted the likes of Wigan, Norwich and Cardiff City.

Josh Rees (Arsenal/Brentford - midfilelder) Has gone on loan to Brentford as he continues his footballing development.  The midfielder will begin life at with the U21 development squad.

Bradley Reid (Wrexham - striker) Has scored eight goals in four appearances for the youth team as his side moved into second in the Youth Alliance. The first year scholar has been offered his first professional contract.

George Williams (Fulham - striker) Scored one as the U18's thrashed local rivals Chelsea 5-0 last weekend.  Williams scored his sides third.
