CHRIS COLEMAN NAMES WALES SQUAD

 

NEWS:
Squad set to meet up on Sunday, with a training session on Monday morning. (2nd October), before travelling to Georgia on Thursday (5th October).

Chris Coleman has named a 23-man squad for the crucial World Cup qualifiers against Georgia and the Republic of Ireland.

Wales squad:
Goalkeepers:
Wayne Hennessey (Crystal Palace), Danny Ward (Liverpool), *Chris Maxwell (Preston).

Defenders:
Ben Davies (Tottenham Hotspur), James Chester (Aston Villa), Neil Taylor (Aston Villa), Chris Gunter (Reading),
*Tom Lockyer (Bristol Rovers), Ashley Williams (Everton), *Ethan Ampadu (Chelsea).

Midfielders:
Joe Allen (Stoke City), David Edwards (Reading), Andy King (Leicester City), Joe Ledley (Derby County), Aaron Ramsey (Arsenal), Jonathan Williams (Crystal Palace - loan Sunderland),
*David Brooks (Sheffield United).

Strikers:
Gareth Bale (Real Madrid),
*Marley Watkins (Norwich City), Hal Robson-Kanu (West Bromwich Albion), Sam Vokes (Burnley), Tom Lawrence (Derby County), Ben Woodburn (Liverpool).

Changes from previous squad. (Sept 2017)

No defenders come in to replace Richards and Collins from the last squad.
