Vauxhall Home Nations Photography competition

Vauxhall Home Nations
The Home Nations Photographer of the Year for 2014 was awarded to Wales' Stu Forster of Getty Images. Stu's portfolio of Chris Coleman's Welsh side captured their positive European Qualifying campaign in 2014.

Cheryl Stibbs, Sponsorship Marketing Manager, said: "This has been the most competitive year since we launched the Vauxhall Home Nations Football Photography awards.

We have been taken back by the quality of the entries and were amazed by the interest our awards have created within the photography profession.

Stu Forster was our unanimous choice and worthy winner of the top award.  His portfolio was an incredible demonstration of sporting photography which captured the drama and athleticism of international football.

He delivered an extremely impressive selection and combination of action and portrait imagery which demonstrated the excitement and drama of this sport at international level."

Individual Photograph of the Year for Wales was awarded to Kieran McManus of Back Page Images for his photo of Gareth Bale throwing his shirt into the crowd after their draw away against Belgium.

Freelance photographer Gareth John scooped first prize in the Individual Photograph of Supporters for his image of jubilant Welsh fans behind Gareth Bale.
