Jake Cassidy (Wolves - striker)
Was back on U21 team duty this week as Wolves travelled to Arsenal.
Cassidy bagged his sides only goal of the game with a header in the 2-1
defeat. Lee Evans (Wolves - midfielder) was up against Josh Rees (Arsenal - midfielder) who started for the Gunners.
Aaron Amadi-Holloway (Bristol City - defender/midfielder/striker) Managed to get some more minutes for the U21's as they beat Brentford in their final game of the season.
Emyr Huws (Man City - midfielder) Was on the scoresheet as City ensured a Lancashire Senior Cup final with Man Utd with a 3-0 win against Rochdale. Captain Huws deservedly finished off a move he started on the halfway line. The Wales U21 international picked up the ball
and surged powerfully downfield, sliding the ball into the bottom corner after exchanging passes with
Bytyqi.
Lloyd Isgrove (Southampton - midfielder) Started as the U21's gave West Ham a thumping this week. Isgrove also picked up a goal in the 5-2 win.
Gethin Jones (Everton - midfielder)
Played 90 minutes for the U21's in a goalless draw with Aston Villa
this week. Jones who was selected for Wales U19 duty tweeted that he was
told to say at home. @GethinJones8
Sam Jones (Man City - defender)
Played another 90 minutes for the U18's as they cruised to a 4-1 win
against Middlesbrough on Tuesday. Jones was on the Wales U19 standby
list for the fixture against Northern Ireland this week.
Tom Lawrence (Man Utd - midfielder) Struck from the spot as the U21's beat Oldham in the Lancashire Senior Cup on Friday. Daniel Gosset (Oldham - defender) started for the Latics.
Jack Nardiello (Stoke - striker) Has
been handed the all clear to start training in two weeks time after
being given the all clear by a specialist this week. The Wales U19
international will be ready for pre-season after missing the majority of
the second half of the season with a back injury.
Aaron Oakley (Swindon - defender) & Louis Thompson (Swindon - midfielder) Have been offered professional one year deals by Swindon after impressing this season.
Liam O'Neil (WBA - defender)
Travelled with the senior squad to Southampton last week as the Baggies
beat the Saints 3-0 at St Mary's. O'Neil has been a regular with the
U21 development side and will be encouraged by his involvement with the
match day squad.
Dominic Smith (Shrewsbury - defender)
Enjoyed his Wales U19 debut last week - the Shrewsbury reserve team
defender played 15 minutes in the 3-0 win over Northern Ireland.
"I knew my nan was Welsh but I didn't know Wales actually knew about me until they called me up. It was a very nice surprise.
Jake Taylor (Reading - midfielder) Scored
for the U21's in the 3-1 win against QPR on Tuesday afternoon. It will
be interesting to see what the future holds for the talented
midfielder, following loan periods away with Cheltenham and Crawley. It was one of the best experiences of my life, I really enjoyed it and it was a great experience."
