Chris Dawson (Leeds - midfielder) Started for the U21's as they played Sheffield Utd on Monday evening.  The Wales U21 international picked up an assist in the 1-1 draw.  Ioan Evans (Sheffield Utd - midfielder)  started for the Blades and was described as excellent by Development Coach Chris Morgan.

Lee Evans (Wolves - midfielder) Will learn from his axe according to manager Kenny Jackett - Evans tweeted "another Saturday with no game #headsgone" before deleting for another more positive note .  The game v Colchester last Saturday was the third successive League One game he had missed.
"He just has to go about things the right way and learn. He's got a good all-round game – his range of passing is as good as anyone here, he can run, his enthusiasm is good and he can come up with a goal." Kenny Jackett

Adam Henley (Blackburn - defender) Returned to U21 action this week after being concussed against Bolton last time out. Henley played 63 minutes in the 2-1 defeat to Everton.  Gethin Jones (Everton - defender/midfielder) was a second half sub for the Toffees.

    Sam Molyneux (Shrewsbury - striker)
Scored but his goal wasn't enough to stop his side from losing to Tranmere in the FA Youth Cup.  The Wales youth international scored with a coolly taken finish but Shreswsbury were eventually dumped out of the cup on penalties.

Joe Morrell (Bristol City - midfielder)
Made his first team debut as City 2-1 away at Wycombe in the St Johnstones Paint.  The call up was a huge boost to the talented midfielder who turned down Liverpool to stay at Ashton Gate.

    Alex Nicholson (Preston - defender/midfielder)
Made his competitive debut as Preston lost to Oldham in the St Johnstones Paint Trophy.  Nicholson played 90 minutes in the 2-0 defeat.

    Aaron Phillips (Coventry - defender)
Made an appearance from the bench as the Sky Blues took on high flying Leyton Orient in the St Johnstones Paint Trophy.  Unfortunately his side eventually lost on penalties - but the son of former Wales international David Phillips is keen for a regular run in the side. "It is a mental game really. I have to keep my mind focused during every training session because you never know when the next opportunity will come along.  It has been difficult at times and of course, you always want to play, especially when we are playing the type of football we are."  Aaron Phillips

Josh Sheehan (Swansea City - midfielder)
Played his first game for 6 months in the 3-1 win against Bristol City's development side on Monday.

    Jake Taylor (Reading - midfielder)
Was back on U21 duties after his appearance for the seniors at the weekend.  Taylor scored with a fantastic free kick in the 4-3 defeat to WBA.

    Louis Thompson (Swindon - midfielder)
Made another first team start as Swindon beat Plymouth 2-1 to advance to the next round of the St Johnstones Paint Trophy.

    Danny Ward (Liverpool - goalkeeper)
Kept a clean sheet as the U21's hammered Spurs at Langtree Park.  Ward will now spend the next week with the Wales U21 squad.
