    Young Guns: Weekly update - Friday 8th March.

    Jonathan Bond (Watford - goalkeeper) Was once again the sticks as he continued to deputise for Manuel Almunia.  Bond made some fine saves as the Hornets beat Sheffield Wednesday 2-1 to keep the pressure on Cardiff City at the top of the Championship.  Bond is out of contract in the summer.

    Jake Cassidy (Wolves - striker) Started as Wolves travelled to Millwall on Tuesday night.  With the away side in desperate need of points and side short on goals - Dean Saunders turned to the Wales U21 and it was his side that took the spoils with a 2-0 win.

    Declan Dalley (Man Utd - defender) Was back in the starting XI as the U18's faced Bolton.  Dalley played 79 minutes in the 2-1 win.  

    Lee Evans (Wolves - midfielder) Scored as his side rallied back from 2-0 down to beat Spurs U21's 4-3 this week.  The former Newport County miodfielder scored with a header in the amazing fight back.  He was joined in the starting IX by Jordan Cranston (Wolves - defender) who played 71 minutes.  

    Ellis Harrison (Bristol Rovers - striker) Made his first home start last weekend as they beat Burton 3-0 last weekend. Harrison kept his place for the midweek 2-0 win against Exteter City.

    Adam Henley (Blackburn - defender) Started after his half time appearance at the weekend against Peterborough.  Unfortunately for teh Wales U21 international and his team mates Rovers condeded a late goal to lose 1-0 against Bolton at The Reebok Stadium.

    Elliott Hewitt (Ipswich - defender) Was another U21 international to make an appearance for the first team this week.  The full back came off the bench as his side lost 1-0 at The City Ground.

    Rob Ogleby (Wrexham - striker) Has signed a contract that will keep him at the club until the end of next season.  The Wales U21 international has scored five goals before Tuesday and added to it with a goal as the Dragons thrashed Ebbsfleet.

    Joe Walsh (Crawley - defender) Was once again a starter as Crawley travelled to Bury last weekend.  The former Swan has made 22 starts for Crawley this season and played 90 minutes in his sides 2-0 win. He was joined in the starting XI by debutant Jake Taylor (Reading/Crawley - midfielder).  

    George Williams (Fulham - striker) Picked up two assists as the U18's beat Crystal Palace 3-2 last weekend. The win cemented their place at the top of the Elite Group.
