Goals from David Edwards, Simon Church and Aaron Ramsey earned Wales an excellent 3-0 win against Scotland at the Cardiff City Stadium.  Att: 13,844.

GOAL ACTION:
Wales 1-0: Good work down the right by Ricketts released Ramsey, his cross found Edwards who volleyed home from 12 yards put Wales 1-0 up after 17 minutes.

Wales 2-0: Ramsey, slides the ball through on left for Ledley. He cuts the ball back for Church to finish from close range. Wales 2-0 up

Wales 3-0: Scotland lose the ball in midfield and Ramsey picks it up, he skips past the Scottish defence into the area to finish with a right foot shot into the bottom right hand corner.

GOALS: Edwards 17', Church 32’, Ramsey 35’.

Chris Gunter is the latest player out, the defender has a viral complaint. Robert Earnshaw did not train on Wednesday with the rest of the squad (calf strain). Ashley Williams is set to captain the side.



Both Sam Vokes and Jermaine Easter were with their clubs this evening and are set to join up with the squad shortly.

The rest of squad has meet up at Vale, they will train on twice on Wednesday, and will attend the FAW Awards on Wednesday evening. Next training session will be on Thursday morning at the Cardiff City Stadium with a further session on Friday morning.

Both the Captain and Manager’s press conference is held on Friday afternoon, along with player’s media session on Wednesday afternoon.

Ticket sales are currently at around 13k Wednesday (11th November).




There are call up ups for Andy Dorman, Robert Earnshaw, Joe Allen and Adam Matthews and Darcy Blake.

Out due to injury are Simon Davies (ankle), James Collins (groin), Craig Bellamy (knee) and Jack Collison (knee). There are also fitness doubts over Chris Gunter and Andy King.
  Danny Gabbidon has been passed fit after being assessed by Wales' medical staff and is due to meet up with thw squad on Tuesday.

The Wales squad are due to meet up on Tuesday afternoon, November 10th.





James Collins has a groin injury, and missed the game for his club on Saturday.
There remain injury doubts about Simon Davies (ankle) and Danny Gabbidon (hip and calf). Both players have not played for their respective clubs over the weekend. Andy King has suffered a suspected broken arm playing for his club.


 
 

John Toshack has named a 23-man squad for the Nationwide Friendly International against Scotland.

Simon Davies returns, David Vaughan, Neal Eardley, Boaz Myhill and Rob Earnshaw are all injured. Lewis Price has elected to play for his club Brentford on the day of the match.

There is no call up for Andy Dorman after the change in eligibility rules. Dorman has been looked at by the Welsh Management team but was just not considered for this squad.

Jason Brown, David Cornell and Andy King are called up.

The FAW have confirmed that Wales will play Scotland in their first International  at the new Cardiff City Stadium, the game
is to be played on Saturday 14th November, kick off 3pm. The match will be the 104th meeting of the two teams. The FAW is very pleased to have the opportunity of using the facilities at the new stadium and grateful to all at Cardiff City for their help and assistance in staging the game. Everyone looks forward to a great afternoon of football.
