Out are David Vaughan (calf injury), Jason Koumas (groin injury), Carl Fletcher (back injury), Simon Davies (achilles injury) and Joe Ledley (finger dislocation). There is a recall for Neal Eardley, after he skippered the Under 21 side in the two UEFA Under 21 play-off matches against England last month. Also promoted from the U-21s are Aaron Ramsey and Jack Collison. The squad is smaller than usual, as this is a one-off friendly match rather than a championship double-header. John Toshack will hold a media conference this Friday morning.
Wales travel to Denmark next month for their final game in 2008. The squad will be announced on Monday 10th November.
Confirmation that there will not be an Under 21 friendly in November. The FAW were hopeful of playing Denmark, but they have already agreed another fixture. At this time, the FAW do not expect the Under 21's to play again now until possibly next February.
