NEWS: Wales May friendly

Wales photo linked from mirror.co.uk

Contrary to recent reports, the FAW have not yet agreed a friendly international at the end of May. Kazakhstan had been mentioned as possible opponents for Wales, the FAW have now confirmed that they are now no longer possible opponents.

Any game at the end of May would be in preparation for the FIFA World Cup qualifier in Azerbaijan on Saturday June 6th, the match would bridge the long gap between the end of the domestic season for many players and the World Cup date in June.

Further information to follow.
