NEWS: Flynn to name squad for England friendly.

UNDER 21: Same day clash

Brian Flynn - photo dragonsoccer/mimosa The crucial Under-21 UEFA qualifier against Romania is set to clash with Wales’ senior international against Georgia.

The Football Association of Wales are happy to back manager Brian Flynn's wish to play at the Racecourse, Wrexham on Wednesday 20th August for the crucial match against Romania, subject to the ground meeting UEFA requirements.

Plans will be in place to stagger kick off times with the senior international against Georgia on the same evening (venue to be confirmed). The FAW should be able to confirm the Under 21 venue in the next few weeks, with the Georgia venue sorted soon. 28-Mar-08 [18:34]
