UNDER 17: UEFA Elite draw and matches

Wales have been drawn in Group 5 with France, Turkey and Norway.

Matches are set to be played between the 24th and 29th March, with France hosting the games. The Under 17s are also set to play friendly matches before the UEFA matches.



Group fixtures:
Friday 26.03.2010: Wales v Norway (Kick off 5pm) & France v Turkey

Sunday 28.03.2010: Turkey v Wales (Kick off 4pm) & France v Norway

Wednesday 31.03.2010: Wales v France (Kick off 5pm) & Norway v Turkey

All three Wales matches will be played at Stadium 1, La Rochelle, France.







The draw for the
Elite round of the UEFA Under 17 championship will take place in Nyon on Tuesday December 8th at 9:30am.

In the Elite round there will be seven groups of four teams with these matches being played during the Spring of 2010. The seeding pots for the draw to be confirmed. Only the first-placed nations will qualify for the tournament finals in Liechtenstein from 18th - 30th May 2010.

Group 9: Greece, Norway
Group 10: Portugal, Georgia
Group 11: Hungary, Slovakia
Group 12: Wales, Bosnia-Herzegovina
Group 13: Czech Republic, Switzerland

*Finland and Malta qualify for the Elite round as the best third-placed nations.
