Brian Flynn’s Under 21 side extended their lead at the top for Group 3 with a hard fought 2-0 win against Bosnia & Herzegovina at the Racecourse Ground, Wrexham.
After a even first half, the home side took the lead after 56 minutes when Ched Evans headed from 6 yards. With Wales holding on for the vital win, Evans popped up to score his second, when his right foot volley from 15 yards took a deflection into the back of Bosnian net. Final score: 2-0.
