A late equaliser by James Loveridge salvaged a point for Wales in their second UEFA Under 17 group game against Bosnia & Herzegovina.
Richard Peniket had given Wales the lead early in the second half when the Fulham striker ended a good move, when he blasted his shot from the right hand side of area across the keeper and into the far corner. Bosnia & Herzegovina fought back a deservedly took a 2-1 lead. But with time running out Swansea’s James Loveridge popped up in the box to scramble home the equaliser.

Wales started off their UEFA U17 Group 12 matches with a 3-2 win against Iceland. A Richard Peniket header after 68 minutes earned Brian Flynn’s Young Guns the win, after Iceland had come from two goals down to level at 2-2. Other goalscorers were Leon Newell (50 minutes) and Aaron Holloway (51 minutes).
