The Under 21s remain top of Group 3 with another impressive victory this time against Italy at the Liberty Stadium. Goal scores for Wales were Christian Ribeiro after 8 minutes and Aaron Ramsey 68 minutes. Att: 5,366.

"I was delighted for the team as they played so well. The Italians were always playing catch-up. There is a long way to go, but the simple facts are that we are ten points ahead of Italy. We have the points on the board - it is for them to catch us now." - Brian Flynn.

Wales line up:
1. Chris Maxwell (Wrexham), 2. Neal Eardley (Blackpool), 3. Neil Taylor (Wrexham), 4. Andy King (Leicester City), 5. Darcy Blake (Cardiff City), 6. Christian Ribeiro (Bristol City), 7. Mark Bradley (Walsall), 8. Aaron Ramsey (Arsenal), 9. Sam Vokes (Wolves), 10. Simon Church (Reading), 11. Shaun MacDonald (Swansea City) (Capt).

Subs:
 18. Ched
Evans for Simon Church 61 minutes.
 14. Aaron Morris for Darcy Blake 64 minutes.

List: 12. David Cornell (Swansea City), 13. Adam Matthews (Cardiff City), 14. Aaron Morris (Cardiff City), 15. Ashley Richards (Swansea City), 16. Joe Partington (Bournemouth), 17. Casey Thomas (Swansea City), 18. Ched Evans (Sheffield United).

Ruled out of the game are Joe Allen (hamstring), Lewin Nyatanga (virus), Chris Gunter (calf) and Nathan Craig.

There are late injury doubts over Jack Collison (calf), Simon Church (ankle) and Ched Evans (illness), though both Evans and Church should be ok. Shaun MacDonald will captain the side.

Brian Flynn has added Adam Matthews to the squad for the forthcoming UEFA Under 21 qualifier against Italy. He joins up with the squad as there are fitness doubts over both Lewin Nyatanga and Chris Gunter. Around 3,700 tickets have been sold.
