This will be Wales’ first senior international against Montenegro, the game to be played in Podgorica. Previously, Wales did meet a combined Serbia-Montenegro team in Group 9 of the European Championships in 2003. In those matches, Wales lost 1-0 in Belgrade, then 3-2 at the Millennium Stadium. Since then, the two countries have split and now play separate internationals. The match will be preparation for the September World Cup match with Russia in Cardiff. -faw.org.uk.
