The U-21 side slipped to a miserable defeat against an impressive Belarus side. Simon Davies was Wales' main threat throughout.

Kutezeu opened the scoring with a first half penalty after being brought down by keeper David Walsh. Ledzianich scored the second on the stroke of half time after a mix up in the Welsh defence. After the break Bulyah drilled home the third, substitute Robert Earnshaw headed a late consolation but Kutezeu added a fourth in the final minute again from the penalty spot.
