Belarus v Wales - U21 - Uefa 2002
Match Report

Belarus (2) 4 Wales (0) 1
Kutezeu pens 25,90 Earnshaw 85
Ledzianich 44
Bulyah 57

The U-21 side slipped to a miserable defeat against an impressive Belarus side. Simon Davies was Wales' main threat throughout.

Kutezeu opened the scoring with a first half penalty after being brought down by keeper David Walsh. Ledzianich scored the second on the stroke of half time after a mix up in the Welsh defence. After the break Bulyah drilled home the third, substitute Robert Earnshaw headed a late consolation but Kutezeu added a fourth in the final minute again from the penalty spot.

We didn't work hard enough in some areas of the park

We created one or two chances, but they finished better than we did.
