In reply to Glyn from
Rhyl, I think your comments are right to a degree, we do need a top quality striker in
place of Tubby Hartson and Grandpa Saunders, but I think that Craig Bellamy will turn out
to be world class in the next few years and do the business. As for your suggestion that
Eifion Williams of Torquay should get the nod.....you must be joking!! This is
international football lad, not Sunday league! Eifion Williams is a good player and
has scored loads in the League of Wales, but I don't think that merits an international
call-up from a 3rd division team! Next thing you'll be saying that there's a 15 year old
in Rhyl who should get a call up because he's scored loads for Rhyl Under 16's!!! |

I may be opening the the
door to howls of derision and scorn but in my view one of
our major failings is scoring goals. Gone is the heyday of Deano, Rushie and Sparky
so i would just like to throw a name in the hat. A proven goalscorer who the opposition
won't know much about. Eifion Williams.
Keep up the good work on the site. |

Wales are simply ain't
good enough for international football. It's sad to think we are the worst team in Great

I know this isn't
strictly Welsh football related, however I thought you football AND music fans may be
interested in an ace new Welsh music book.
'Cerys, Catatonia and The Rise Of Welsh Pop' is a must-have new book that celebrates the
last 30 years of Welsh music, lifting the lid on the highs and lows of the Welsh music
scene.
Published on September 7th, the book charts the the inexorable rise of the Welsh pop icons
that have transformed a nation's cultural landscape and dragged it kicking and screaming
into the 21st century. As well as the obvious subject matter of the title, the book
immerses itself in three decades of Welsh music. Amongst the many subjects the book
investigates are the dynamic '80s Welsh language music scene, the politics of the nation's
musical rennaisance and the Newport scene of the mid '90s.
It is published by Ebury Press (an imprint of Random House) and is available for £9.99.
For all you online buyers www.amazon.co.uk have the
book for £7.99. |

be tough, we still have some problems with our squad and one goal win over Wales will be
our succes.
I stiil believe that you'll beat Norway. it is really possible due to norwegian style of
atacking...
all the best for you and see you in october! |

Great site.
I'm coming down for the Norway game next month and am looking forwsrd to it- I think we
could be in line for a draw. I think that to drop Jones after one bad mistake would be
harsh- after all rember Switzerland away, denmark at Liverpool, etc, etc. He'll need time
to get form and confidence back after injury.
The new Wales strip seems to be of the same design as the current Italian one-I'm looking
forward to buying it ( alkways assuming it's available-trust the FAW to balls up such a
clear revenue earning opportunity)
I reckon the Norwegians would struggle against Ginger John and Blake up front: I hope
Sparky ends his bizarre fixation with Iwan Roberts. wela i chi |
