Wales were totally outclassed by Italy in Bologna, were it not for Paul Jones we could have conceded a lot more.

Three first half goals from Christian Vieri, Filippo Inzaghi and Paolo Maldini sealed the fate of this Euro 2000 qualifier before half-time. Enrico Chiesa added a splendid fourth just before the end to complete a disappointing night.
