Match Report |
Two goals by John Hartson either side
of half-time earned Wales a valuable point in Yereven, but it could have been so much
better for Mark Hughes' men. Wales had four changes from the side that drew in Poland last
October with Coleman, Giggs, Savage and Blake missing. Conditions were poor with the pitch
heavy from persistent rain during the day. Wales were denied a victory by a brilliant
25-yard left foot strike from Movsesyan after 66 minutes. |

Reaction |
I have a bunch of players now who are
very disappointed not to have won this one. We have scored twice away from home and that
should be enough to win the match. But the goals we have conceded are bad ones for us. We
have got something from our last three games, admittedly just a point in each game, but
there will be a time when all the efforts that we put in will give us that win. - Mark Hughes
We gave them more space to play at the
end of the day that cost us very dear. - Mark Bowen
